How to Measure for Wig Cap Size

Fit starts with measurements and the specific product’s size chart. An adjustable feature cannot replace checking the size.

Prepare for measurement

Use a flexible measuring tape and follow the product supplier’s measurement instructions. Arrange your hair as you intend to wear it under the wig so the comparison reflects your installation.

Record the requested dimensions

Common fit checks include circumference, front-to-back and ear-to-ear measurements. Record the units and measurement path specified by the supplier. Repeat each measurement to check consistency.

Compare before ordering

Use the confirmed chart for the exact cap construction. Do not apply one universal small/medium/large chart to every wig. Ask what adjustment range is actually provided.

When to ask for help

If your measurements fall between sizes, or you are unsure where to measure, contact us with the product link. A stylist can help you assess fit before any cutting or alteration.
